Novaforesta Livingstone Daisy at 4 weeks

At the moment she is the extrovert of the litter, on par with Lily of the Valley!. Both these girls are very alert and the first at your feet. Although the webcam doesn't show the rest of the room, we eat our meals a few feet away so we are able to watch the pups, however they are getting teeth so slippers are now a must!, plus my floor doesn't show the little puddles that are now appearing.

Male Barbet Puppy available

This little chap is 4 months old and still looking for his forever home. He has been micrchipped, vaccinated against rabies and has a pet passport.
He is called Artos, and loves to swim and play, but as that is what Barbets are good at, no real surprise:).
If you are interested, then either look up Barbet Beppina on facebook and see more family photos of Artos with his brothers or contact me and I will pass on your details.
There is one slight problem........although he is ready to have a family of his own, he is in Poland.
and if you want a Barbet this is an opportunity......there are no Novaforesta storks arriving until 2014.

Novaforesta Irrestible at 8 weeks

My little sweetie, or little Miss naughty!. She is just adorable but when you feel teeth on the back of your legs, it is always her !, when a puppy escapes, it is always her, and she can push her Mother to extremes, but of course Bepop always wins and out of all the puppies this little girl is always next to Mum. She also adores my other dogs, and when she sees them her little tail doesn't stop. I thought I had put a pheasant wing out of reach, but she appeared with it. This little girl will not be destined for a show ring, she should be out working as she has the determination at such a young age.

Solid black Barbet boy at 5 weeks

This is still the smallest pup, but don't be fooled as being little doesn't stop him being in the middle of the scrum for food so he is not missing out, he carries all the toys and out of the whole litter always shows an interest as soon as something new arrives in the pen, he loves to sleep in the bed with all the toys, doesn't look very comfortable but that is what he likes.

Red collar boy at 5 weeks

Well here he is, a Barbet puppy that is so easy to photograph, he just loves the camera or maybe just loves the attention. He is the bravest puppy outside, he is certainly the hungriest puppy, but not the one that makes the most noise, so strong and silent! This boy was totally relaxed with Martha, this was their first meeting not through the fence, the other pups were more fascinated by her as she was not Mum.

Green collar boy at 5 weeks

Now considering this boy was like a bar of slippery soap as a newborn he is now quite placid, that is if puppies can be placid! he loves being back in the bed quietly playing with toys.

Mr Red Barbet boy at 4 weeks

Mr Red is a bit of a poser, he likes the attention of the camera so perhaps he will be a future dog model!. he is a confident chap, and is now minus his collar as it keeps falling off, I can't see how as it is velcro and when I check it is on tight, but every morning we find it somewhere in the whelping box. So he is still called red collar, and is quite easy to spot as he is still the largest. A lovely boy and full of fun

Barbet girl 4 weeks old

At the moment her name is Novaforesta India, and she is holding her own with the boys, she loved being outside for the first time and is a very playful puppy. She has discovered the settee, or should I say she has discovered going behind the settee.

Mr Purple, Barbet puppy at 4 weeks

Mr Purple is not the most adventurous of pups, and at the moment is the pup that reacts more to new sounds than the rest. He is a pup that loves cuddles already. It is lovely as I am beginning to start to get to know them and see their differences.

puppy photos 3.5 weeks old

I have started to wean the pups on a recipe given to me by a friend who has been rearing pups for 30 years, and I am pleased to say that they are certainly ready for it and Bepop can start looking less haunted when they all start yelling. Whistle training will now commence, although if you watch the webcam then the pups will be fed outside the box, but you will see alot of excitement and the box being emptied!. I will feed them on different floor surfaces, and different food bowls as this is the time for the beginning of the handover from Bepop to me, she has done a wonderful job so far, she has been very protective of the pups with the other dogs around but is now starting to relax with Martha, Bobby and Jazz, however Betsy she feels is still a threat and in fairness she probably is as she is so maternal that she would without any doubt try and take the pups.

Barbet Puppy time

The webcam is down as we are doing a spot of rewiring in the study, so here are a few photos from today.
